[comp.sys.amiga] Workbench colors

ins_adjb@jhunix.UUCP (Daniel Jay Barrett) (04/19/87)

I have been searching for quite some time for a satisfactory
4-color combination for my Workbench. I don't like the defaults
supplied, and (until last night) I was unsuccessful in finding a good
combination.

Starting with the defaults, I grabbed the red Preferences slider,
and moved it about 25% to the right. The background went from blue
to violet.

Suddenly, perfection. I was quite surprised (I'm no fan of
purple). I realize that this is not the most earth-shattering news
to most people, but I thought I'd share the experience....

I've had my worbench color on purple for quite sometime. It is
pleasing to the eye. My cursor/highlight color is turquoise - it too
is pretty. Both colors are very easy to work with.
