Opens New Facility -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As readers of this newsgroup undoubtedly know, the lease on the previous Commodore-Amiga facility expired on March 31, 1987. Coincident with the closing of that building, all but two of the existing C/A employees were terminated. A "wake" was held by the former employees on April 4, 1987 in Los Gatos, CA to mourn the passing of a great institution. So much for the bad news. Now for the good news. Commodore Business Machines has authorized creation of a small facility for the purpose of maintenance of, enhancement to, and expansion for system ROM software. This is solely a software development facility; software support and technical advice will be handled exclusively from the West Chester, Pennsylvania offices. So far, we have moved in and set-up the ethernet and local network. We are hoping to become fully operational within 2 weeks. Assisting myself with software design will be Dale Luck, whom you already know. Caryn Havis remains in her position as Manager of Third Party Software (she is currently on maternity leave with her new son, Alexander JosephMical.) With any luck, we will be able to provide useful support for the Amigas 500 and 2000. Thank you for your continued support. bart
