Some questions on the AmigaMail support newsletter: 1> Who gets it automagically? 2> Who needs to ask/beg/buy/barter/steal to get it and how do they do that? 3> What issues have been published? As a 'certified' developer several issues came, one month missed then nothing from August until December, 1986. The last issue before December said that "...Details [about the monterey developer's] confrence in the next issue...". The only details in the next issue [December] where about how to purchase the NOTES from the confrence that happened back in November! No issues have come since December, 1986... and to think that net-rumor has it that I am missing out on a real-life picture of Carolyn Scheppner! 8-) :-) :-] :-[ 8-> 8-<

Originally the newsletter was sent only to developers who were registered with our West Chester Office; this included all of the issues through the December issue. The last issue (the one that everyone has been talking about - glossy with pictures, real sharp) was sent to ... 1. All of our registered developers. 2. Everyone who was on any of our Amiga databases. This includes anyone who ever ordered hardware/software/other from us. Current policy: Future newsletters will be sent to Commercial and Certified developers (no charge; it is included in their yearly fee) and anyone who subscribes. For a one-year subscription - send a check for $20 to: Commodore Business Machines 1200 Wilson Drive West Chester, Pa 19380 Attention: Lauren Brown >2> Who needs to ask/beg/buy/barter/steal to get it and how do they do that? Lisa lists the Amiga Mail issues available. She didn't mention that volume 1, was apparently the Mar. '86 issue. Vol. 1 apparently was only 1 issue, as the Mar. '86 issue says that it is the "...first issue of our Developer News Letter." April '86 was labled Vol. 2. Just thoght I'd pass that along, lest any readers thought they were missing some stuff. All other issues that Lisa mentions concur with what I have here. I'd like to take the time to say thanks. Amiga Mail has greatly improved over the last year. The pictures and glossy were quite a pleasant surprise. --Bill (wtm@neoucom.UUCP)
