(I couldn't Followup on this, so I'm using Pnews to post answer) > From: hansb@ariel.unm.edu (Richard Harris PSYCHOLOGY) > What are the hardware memory locations for the right mouse button? > I have found the left button's location, $BFE001, but the MANUAL > does not mention the right button even once. There is another location, > $BFD100, that mentions /sel0 /sel1 /sel2 /sel3, but absolutely no > documentation on what they are expecting. I don't know what "MANUAL" you're looking at. I had no problem. 1. Right Mouse Button C-A Hardware Manual - page 8-5 A-W Hardware Manual - page 219 Note - I found these page numbers in the Index under Mouse buttons p. nnn You will see that the right mouse button is read as a potentiometer port and are referred to "Reading Proportional Controllers" for more info. (Note - To find that, look up Proportional Controllors, Reading, in the Index). 2. /sel0 /sel1 /sel2 /sel3 are the Disk Select bits described on page 8-14 of the C-A Hardware manual, page 229 of the A-W hardware manual. As for what they expect, I believe "/" means the bits are active low (i.e. a 0 in that bit selects that drive) PS: Be prepared for many obstacles if you are attempting to directly deal with parts of the hardware already allocated by Intuition, trackdisk, AmigaDOS, etc. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Carolyn Scheppner -- CBM >>Amiga Technical Support<< UUCP ...{allegra,caip,ihnp4,seismo}!cbmvax!carolyn PHONE 215-431-9180 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
