Then I'm sure this could very well ruin their day. I was watching a computer
news show on the local public television station, and they were discussing a
recent court decision concerning software 'cloning'. I forget the specific
software that was ruled on, but the CrossTalk clone Mirror (for the IBM) was
mentioned.) Basically, the court ruled that a program 'screen' can be
copyrighted. Any clone of a software package could not use and identical
screen (like Mirror only with a different name at the top), EVEN if none of
the original code was copied.
