I'm looking for an Amiga monitor. Until recently, I was getting by with a Commodore 1702, since I considered the Amiga 1080 to be too low-persistence and overpriced. I've heard about an awful lot of monitors, including: Sony KV1311CR (was selling for US$388 in S.F., replaced supposedly with a US$350 model, which I know nothing about.) Amiga 1080 (supposedly available in the US for US$260, a month or so ago. I'll consider the silly thing if the price is right.) High Persistence Amiga Monitor (expected out in August, I believe? any price or statistics yet? Probably smeary and overpriced...) Electrohome H.P. Multisync (The ONLY one I have full stats for... selling for US$950, last I heard.) I'd appreciate any available statistics or reviews or summaries of same on these or any other monitors. The new Sony, whatever it is, appears the most desirable right now, but I rarely see anything but the 1080 in catalogs in Canada. Any idea how the new massive U.S. tariff affects us here? Any Canadian source of monitors would be welcomed. I don't want to deal with customs and TWO sets of tariffs. Looking to buy soon...
