[] For the past two weeks I have been trying to get through to the moderator of comp.sources.amiga to post the sources for GravityWars with no luck. He had sent me the following address: doc@j.cc.purdue.edu doc@asc.purdue.edu doc@asc.cc.purdue.edu Trying to mail to any of these gets the same response... Service Unavailable/Mail undeliverable!!!! I also thought to just send the sources directly to Fred Fish, in hopes he would include them on a disk but unfortunely I lost his email address. If anyone can help me with either problem please email to me at any of the below addresses. Thanks in advance, Ed Bartz P.s. All these address are at Rutgers University, so all mail would originate from there. If any opinion I had was shared by my employers I be shocked. What's more so would they. ARPA: Bartz@ruthep.rutgers.edu UUCP: bartz@elbereth.uucp BITNET: bartz@ruthep.bitnet -- If any opinion I had was shared by my employers I be shocked. What's more so would they. Here are all the addresses that I can possibly think of to get to me... UUCP: ihnp4!pur-ee!j.cc.purdue.edu!doc ihnp4!ee.ecn.purdue.edu!j.cc.purdue.edu!doc or doc@pucc-j.UUCP ARPA: doc@j.cc.purdue.edu doc@asc.cc.purdue.edu BITNET: PIERCE@PURCCVM The actual address is "amiga-sources-request" in place of "doc" on any one of those addresses, but sending it to me is just fine... The archive structure has changed a bit since we handle alot of the sources archives. We now have a top level directory named "news", which contains a subdirectory named "comp".. Well, to make a long story short, the pathname to the sources is "news/comp/sources/amiga" and binaries is "news/comp/binaries/amiga". Remember, if you do not have ARPAnet access, trying to get to these archives is impossible. If you do, they are on one of the above mentioned arpanet addresses (all the same machine). At the moment, there is alot of stuff in the queue that I had some problems with when sent to me... Steve Drew's shell is just about ready, everytime I start to post it, there is another bug fix in the mail ;-), but I should get it out sometime this weekend! Also, I have a starplotting program that had some problems with some of the uuencoded files, so I sent the author for a good copy. Coming out later tonight will be an unshar program written by yours truly.. This ends up about 8K executable after being compiled and handles most shar files that I can find... Its is fairly portable, so it should be able to be run on most machines... Also I will be putting out an IFF->POSTSCRIPT in the binaries area. Lots of action, so watch out! -Craig
