I am looking for an Emacs editor for use on my DEC Rainbow 100 micro. I would prefer to use it under MS-DOS, but will settle for CP/M if I can't find Emacs for MS-DOS. Does anyone know of an editor like the VAX/VMS editor (EDT) for the Rainbow? I would like to check it out as well. Looking forward to hearing from someone soon! Vishwas Barve.

In it you will find a MS-DOS version of MicroEmacs for the Rainbow (ME-RB.ARC) and the latest version of SEDT (SEDTV31B.ARC), which is essentially the RAINBOW version of VAX EDT. Both are public domain, and cost you only the time it takes to download them. You will also find quite a few other utilities that are either RAINBOW specific or generic MS-DOS that will make your life easier. In addition, check out the discussions in message area 11, which is dedicated to the RAINBOW. If you do not have a copy of ARC.EXE, also download a copy of ARC51.COM from the MS-DOS file section. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= _ The World's First / \ Whose dog is that?
