I'm using a custom-built Epson JX-80 driver with Pagesetter and get beautiful results. No white lines, no squashed lines, even Topaz looks good. The trick is - you don't use Pagesetter itself for your printouts. You use Gold Disk's accessory program called "PagePrint" instead. Gold Disk has admitted that the printout routines in the main Pagesetter program are messed up and they themselves recommend PagePrint for printing. Further - you MUST have your preferences set for "black & white", not grey scale or color. This is why you get the "preferences setting is wrong" (or whatever it says) message. Gold Disk has released their PagePrint and PageIFF programs to be freely distributable. They should be available in local User group Disks, on BBS's, they're on pay-networks such as PeopleLink, and probably on Fish and Amicus disks as well.
