Last weekend I bought my Amiga to a community fair at my church in
San Francisco. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, came. I was running
some music programs to demonstrate the sound and graphic capability
of a computer.
There were a bunch of IBM PC's and Mac's around. However, as you all
known the sound and graphic capability of the Amiga, a lot of attention
was given to the Amiga. The Mac's were pretty lonely...
People were amazed and amused when they saw the graphic and heard the
music. Many of them also ask me how much they cost, isn't it IBM compatible
etc, etc.
It was very fullfilling to see the joy that a nice computer can bring
to people.
Well, what about a new advertising slogan; "Computer for real people".
Think about it.
