I have an Avatex 1200 that has stood steady use (Abuse) since November. Works great for me, I could use a modem with more features, but can easily get around with DBW_VT100, and my vt-50 beast. I missed the original, but I, too, have an Avatex 1200 which has also stood
steady use since about November, and I'm quite satisfied with it.
