Okay, this is a questionairre on some aspects of available Amiga software. It
would be really nice if EVERYBODY (or some reasonable approximation thereof)
would take a little time to fill out one or a couple of these and mail
the result to me.
Periodically, I will post a "latest" summary of all the information I have
collected. I think that this could be a very valuable resource for the
Amiga community and will truly be a "product of the usenet" -- however, it
requires participation (and thanks to everyone who provided suggestions
for questions to include).
I certainly do not expect people to put an inordinate amount of time into
helping out on this (completely filling this out for a software collection
of 100 titles would take an unreasonable amount of effort), but please take
a little time to at least partially fill out a couple of these.
It will not be possible for everybody to answer all questions. If you don't
have expansion ram, it's hard to tell if the program works correctly with
it... Just leave those slots blank. Also, there are some questions that
would take some effort to answer (telling if the program hogs the
machine requires running a performance monitor, for instance). If you don't
want to take the time or can't, don't sweat it. Leave it blank.
However, even keeping this in mind, please fill in as much as you can.
The questions are intended to (mostly) be objective -- this is not a collection
of reviews (although that might be a good idea too). I am not too interested
in whether you like the program. Just the facts, please :-)
If an answer is approximate or a guess, that is fine, but please indicate
that with a question mark or something. If the program is shareware,
indicate that with the suggested contribution; if it is freeware, please
say so. If a question has no clear response, use common sense. With
luck, I'll be able to figure out what you mean.
And, in advance, thank all of you for reading this, and particularly thank
those of you who will take time to respond.
