***************** LOOKING FOR AMIGA PD SOFTWARE / FISHDISKS *************** We (Sam Weber and I) are attempting to put together "The Amiga PD Software Distribution Centre" which will consist of a Fish Disk redistribution point for Canada, a BBS for downloading and a login called "amiga" on this machine that we can use to field orders by email. We figure we will be able to send out Fish Disks for about $5 Cdn / Disk (cost of disk + mailing) which is cheaper and faster than Fred can (to Canada). The point of the exercise is to make Amiga PD stuff easily and quickly available here in Canada. Right now we are trying to accumulate as many of the Fish Disks as we can before we order the rest from Fred himself. If you have FishDisks, or know of someone (a store, user group ...) that we could get a bunch from, could you please drop us a line here (gbs@gpu.utcs.toronto.edu) or at "amiga@gpu.utcs.toronto.edu" (Should be up by Tuesday July 20th) If all goes well, we should be in full operation (BBS up, etc) by Mid-Sept.
