[comp.sys.amiga] JTIME

ng@pur-phy.UUCP (Nicholas J. Giordano) (07/20/87)

I am interested in building the battery backed up real time clock which
is described on one of the Fish disks (#65 I believe). I would greatly
appreciate any comments on it. Comments from people who have built it
(does it work??) are especially welcome.

Some of the specific questions I have are:

(1) Does it work - are there any problems with it.
(2) Are there any things which you would do differently the second time around.
(3) The information I have includes a program JTIME which is used to set
and read the clock. However, I do not have the source - can anyone
    send the source to me?
(4) Where would you recommend getting the parts (this question actually only
applies to the clock chip, the rest of the parts seem pretty common).

One last thing - if anyone has a different homebrew clock I would be
very interested in hearing about it.

Many thanks in advance.

Nick.
