A while ago I posted instructions on how to participate in an informal survey I had setup to see just how many people have Extra-Half-Brite (EHB) mode on their Amigas. I have not received any new votes since July 14, so I am calling it quits and publishing the results now. A total of 76 votes were received. Of those, 25 indicated that they DID have EHB mode, while 51 indicated that they DID NOT have EHB. This means that of the population sampled, there was slightly over a 2:1 ratio of people not having EHB to those tht did. I would suspect that there is a substantial population of Amiga owners who don't have EHB. Thanks to EVERYONE who participated. If your name doesn't appear below, then I never received a vote from you. Sorry... Hopefully we'll do something like this again sometime. If anyone is interested in the shell script that handled the messages, send me mail and I'll mail it to you. Be forewarned that you will need a very good sendmail configuration, since little address handling is done in the script (Thanks go to Kyle Jones <kyle@odu.edu> for his brilliant sendmail.cf).
