well, now that i have been chewed out publicly by BOTH of the purdue archives administrators ... First, the current status. Craig Norbert wrote from purdue to tell me that many of the amiga archives had been reloaded. I have pulled some of the stuff over and, lo and behold, some of it works now. The files are a bit longer than they used to be; Craig tells me they have been Hunkpadd'ed BEFORE uploading from their amiga. So those of you who have had trouble, try again. Sorry to say juggler still will not work. Make, unshar, uudecode, and one or two other randoms work just fine, though. Some of you have written to me to report similar problems and ask for some of this stuff, but for some reason i cannot get out to usenet paths. For those of you who asked for claz and make, sorry. maybe we need another posting to comp.binaries.amiga? Finally, i should mention that i have been trying to get 'doc@asc.purdue.edu' to respond to me for about six months now. I think doc is probably overworked, but in any event, i was not trying to give purdue a hard time; just wanted to let some of you out there know that you were not alone, that there seemed to be a lot of trouble loading binaries from purdue. -- Ron Minnich
