I know this has probably been discussed a hundred times already... BUT... What is the format of HAM mode screens in memory? I know there's a six bit word for each pixel, but how is this word constructed? Is it one bit from each plane, high bit first? Low bit first? Or is the word packed into the bitmap, such that the first byte of the bitmap would have one entire word and two bits of the next one? And what are the meanings of the top two bits? 00=palette #, or 11? Thanks, Bruce
