I am a big fan of this package and the fact that it is not out for my Amiga bothers me! (Don't tell me I need a side-car!) If my brother can run this package on his (WIMPY!!) IBM I should have no problem on the Amiga. (The boys from ASH and TATE(sp?) could even put in an IFF field! :->) If you have never ran this package alot you don't know what it can do, but if you have used this package, you know how much power it has. With my 880K drives and 2.5 megs of memory, I should have one of the best computers on the market for this package. This happend to me the other day, and got me real mad! (I.E. "Barry, comes to me looking for a data base set up. Just a simple one with under 10 fields, and all he wants to do is search on 6 of the 10 fields. (Barry, comes to me because I am the guy with the big computer .) So what did I have to tell him? "Barry, sorry I can't set that up half as nice as my brother Paul on his IBM.") (ARG!) :-< As long as IBM has all the good software we are nothing but CUTE computers. We as Amiga owners have a computer that now has a good bit of software. Now, is the time for us to get the few packages, like dBASE III+ and TURBO Pascal, that will truly make are computer the source for home computing power in the 1990's. Thanks for your time, and if you have any comment please let me know. (God, I would feel bad if dBASE was on the market and I did not know!!) Joseph Robert Dawson Sysop of BitStop, an Amiga BBS! P.S. If you make dBASE make it multi-task, like all good software!
