I'm sure several people read the following: $From: Chuck McManis <cmcmanis%pepper@Sun.COM> $Newsgroups: comp.sys.amiga $Subject: No more Sun stuff $Message-Id: <24740@sun.uucp> $Keywords: Commercials, conflict of interest etc $ $It has been pointed out to me that my posting of my opinions on the relative $merits and or value of Sun equipment is a) Gross Commercialization, b) Not $my place as a lowly programmer, and c) Generally not a 'Good Thing'. In the $future I will restrict my postings to Amiga technical information and as few $flames as possible. I apologize for those I may have offended, I will answer $questions about Sun via email (assuming I can get a reply back) Bitnet sites $are sometimes impossible to get to. $ $Happy Snoopy? I don't remember Chuck being anything but informative and helpful. I his few comparisons with other machines. I wonder if the critics work for Apollo? Please people, be understanding. You should here me talk about my amiga. I tend to rave. It's hard to be objective all the time. Go ahead, I have my flame suit on PKG.SPARKMAN@MCC.COM I claim all rights to the above opinions. -------

Large employers can be rather stuffy about "unauthorized marketeering" (not that I ever felt Chuck was guilty of this). -Fred -- = Drug tests; just say *NO*! = Fred Fish Motorola Computer Division, 3013 S 52nd St, Tempe, Az 85282 USA = seismo!noao!mcdsun!fnf (602) 438-3614

I have always immensely enjoyed Chucks writings, and never thought he stepped out of bounds. The very fact that Comparisons between Suns and Apollos and Amigas are being made, I feel is a very positive note. So, blather away Chuck, I'll still keep my Apollo, but your stuff is a lot more informative than a lot of the slop here... -- Richard Sexton INTERNET: richard@gryphon.CTS.COM UUCP: {akgua, hplabs!hp-sdd, sdcsvax, ihnp4, nosc}!crash!gryphon!richard "It's too dark to put the key in my ignition..."
