I've got a moderate sized program to write on the Amiga, and I'd like to use interlace mode while developing it. Can would anyone mind telling me what color settings they use? Is it hopeless? BTW, anyone have a font that looks nicer than the default cli font? Sean -- -- Sean Casey sean@ms.uky.edu, {uunet, cbosgd}!ukma!sean -- sean@ms.uky.csnet, sean@UKMA.BITNET -- I am a shrubber...

I run my Amiga with interlace workbench all the time. I find the flicker to be minimal and not at all disturbing with the workbench colors set as below (in the order that they appear in Preferences, as RGB) 0 0 0 8 8 8 5 5 5 12 0 0 It sure is nice to have 2 cli's open, each of which is as big as the "standard" sized one! Just remember, it does take more memory to run with the interlace option on. Some stuff that barely ran before may not fit now. For fonts I use FastFonts by Charlie Heath, with one of the fonts he supplies. A good product, especially since it comes with FunKeys (simple function key definition package, that lets you define 2 keys, the others open CLI's and cycle you through windows/screens). -- Carlos Smith uucp:...!harvard!umb!ileaf!carlos Bix: carlosmith
