New good place for software: trantor.emd.edu! I got the gadget editor object from trantor.umd.edu, and it runs, but i have one problem: I cannot get it to do ANYTHING. I mean, i set the flags and propinfo for a proportional gadget, then select 'add new gadget', but then i cannot edit images or anything. It periodically tells me to select a gadget, which i am unable to do, and when i ask it to delete a gadget it highlights an area way off in the middle of nowhere and asks me if it should delete that area. Sometimes it locks up the whole machine. So, the question: what simple, stupid thing am i doing wrong? Can somebody show me a simple sequence to create a simple gadget? Can any of this be version related? ( i am using 1.2 gamma wb). BTW all you downloaders, amiga-kermit is screwing up for me. Sometimes it downloads binary just fine, other times you MUST download the uuencoded file and decode on the amiga. So if you have trouble even though you have set binary file type, try the uue file. might work. ron -- Ron Minnich
