I am looking for a freely redistributable program to grab a screen image and save it as an IFF file, so I can print it on a LaserWriter using the IFF to PostScript program. I have about 15 images to print for a computer graphics course I am taking, and using the GraphicDump program with an Epson JX-80 produces output suitable for lining a birdcage at the rate of 20 minutes per picture. If you can give me a pointer to a place where such a program can be obtained via FTP, or if you can send me the program (executable preferred) I would be most grateful. --M [note new address!] Mike Portuesi / Carnegie-Mellon University ARPA/UUCP: mp1u+@andrew.cmu.edu BITNET: rainwalker@drycas (a uVax-1 run by CMU Computer Club...tons o' fun) "that you were ever tempted by the lie...that there's an answer in the sky" --Echo and the Bunnymen, "Never Stop"

There should be at least one (my ScreenSave) in comp.amiga.sources. There was another posted a while back which saved all viewports as IFF files. My ScreenSave is also on Fish Disk #64. Make sure you get the version that saves a CAMG chunk (i.e. not the old original version). -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Carolyn Scheppner -- CATS >>Commodore Amiga Technical Support<< UUCP ...{allegra,ihnp4,rutgers}!cbmvax!carolyn PHONE 215-431-9180 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
