[comp.sys.amiga] Tripos

jbn@glacier.STANFORD.EDU (John B. Nagle) (09/25/87)

Tripos, which Commodore calls AmigaDos, is available for machines other
than the Amiga. Tripos was originally developed at Cambridge University, for
a PDP-11, and ported to the M68000 at Bath University.

A porting kit for M68000 Tripos is available from Metacomco, Bristol, U.K.
Metacomco has just announced porting kits for the M68020 and Mullard 68070.
See Electronics and Wireless World, September 1987, p. 897.

Incidentally, Tripos is written primarily in BCPL.
