I just received DBW_Render V2.0 (the PD ray-tracing program by William Baldridge). Good news: V2.0 has a much more user-friendly command language than V1.0. Now the bad news: the documentation has some nontrivial bugs. The documentation for the SCAN command seems to be way off base. Does anyone out there understand what the MODE (legal values: 0, 1, 2) and BPP (legal values: 4, 8) are for? I would hazard a guess that the BPP lets you expand the number of bits per pixel. Perhaps the MODE refers to the "sketch" modes referred to in the "New Features" list but not mentioned anywhere else? (If not, then how *do* you use the "sketch" modes?) Finally, which of the SCAN command's many parameters lets you set the RESOLUTION? If anyone knows the answers to any of these, please let me know. Alternatively, could someone plesae forward my inquiries to Mr. Baldridge himself? Thanx very much in advance!
