$I asked Lauren Brown (of Commodore) that question on the phone the other
$day, and she said they're the same as the 1080, but with different connec-
$tors, for use with different cables. And, as the cable comes with the
$monitor anyway, it doesn't matter which one you get.

This seems to be mightily confused.

The 2002 has the same connections as the A1080, but comes in two
"versions" the difference being the supplied cable. The 2002 is
Commodore's "universal" monitor, as it can be ordered to work
with any Commodore computer (incl. 64, 128, PC, and Amigas).

It may be the same in terms of connections as the 1080, but it makes
sense to have one under the Commodore name if it in fact works with
all of our models.

The 2002-89 comes with 8 pin (round) din cable for C64, and DB9 cable
for RGBI for C128 and PC-10 w/color display adaptor.

The 2002-23 comes with the DB23 cable for the Amiga.

I hope this clears it up,

	Paul.
