I agree with you all of the way that the WCS is the best way to go...

Why can't commodore (or some third party) make a complete IBM
bootup disk in place of the kickstart?  the kickstart only takes up
the first 30 tracks, and there are another 50 tracks on the disk...

I recall one of the BIG rumors a while back:

You will be able to change the kickstart disk so you can recover
most of the memory and have only 40k for the operating system.

(of course this was before the amiga came out...)
