[comp.sys.amiga] Looking for a stacked 2000 to use briefly

[Line-eater, this one's for you!]

Sorry, folks, we have mal-installed "postnews" on this machine, and "inews"
doesn't allow me to control distribution, so everyone gets to see this, even
though it is really only intended for Boston. I tried - I honestly tried...

I am trying to locate an Amiga 2000 with a bridgecard and a hard-disk on the
PC-side. I need 512K RAM on the PC-side, and 2.5 mB free hard-disk space.

As a favor to someone else on the net, I'm trying to find out if a commercial
PC-program runs on the Amiga. I'll be trying a demo package, which I will give
to who-ever owns the machine after I am finished. [Nope, I'm not going to
identify the program here - but it isn't a game program.]

Unfortunately, none of the three Amiga stores that I know of in this area have
a machine configured the way I need. Only one has a bridge-card at all, and
it doesn't have a hard disk on it.

If possible, I'd like to hear from someone in the Boston hub area, with Rhode
Island being an outside possibility. I don't particularly feel like driving to
New York for this - my favors don't run THAT far...

However, it is possible that I could mail the package to someone elsewhere in
the country and have them try it without my assistance.

I don't think BBN cares what I think about this stuff.
