In a recent issue of The Transactor, there are instructions for getting at some messages hidden in Workbench. While the first few have appeared elsewhere (Amazing Computing?), the last one is new to me. (Note: All of these have been done with only two hands, and no recourse to nose, toes, or friends, but you may want help.) - Hold down both shift keys and both alt keys - Press F1, F2, F3, etc. 10 different messages will appear while the buttons are held down. - While a function key is held down, eject a disk. Another message! Now for the tricky bit... - While a function key is held down (and both shifts and alts, of course), position the mouse over the click-to-back gadget and hold down the left mouse button. Now, insert a disk. A comment on MetaComCo! (I think.) Disclaimers: This is from memory, and there may exist slightly simpler procedures to bring these messages to the fore.
