In the October issue of Computer Shopper, there is an article discussing a few new formats for bit images that are being worked on and used on different computers. One interesting idea mentioned in the articles was a method for correcting aspect ratios so that an image can be rendered correctly on any machine. The article didn't get real specific about any exact formats, but the whole idea seemed interesting. Does anyone know where some documentation for either the UGI (Universal Graphics Interchange) or GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) is?
