Has anyone seen the commercials for the Atari? Atari is aiming their
guns at Apple. Hope Atari doesn't look over their shoulder. At the store that
I upgraded to the A2000, they sell A2000's at the rate of 1 or 2 an hour!
A500's are also selling well. The poor salesman at the store can't get an
A2000 until the heat is off. Sure he can get an Amiga at another store, but
he doesn't get an employee discount! When I walked into the store on a weekday
during working hours, an A2000 was going out the door, not including mine!
That was in 15 minutes.
Another note on the Atari commercial. Here in southern California,
Federated stores are now owned by Atari. The commercial said go there.
I have not seen the A2000 at any Federated store I visited. Looks like the
Amiga is dead here.
