I've heard a lot about nifty packages for customizing my Amiga (e.g. FACC, CONMAN, GOMF, and possibly others). Where can I get them? I think some are share-ware and some may be commercial products. At least where can I get info on them? --JimG (guilford@csv.= ive_RTI

Most have a library (of one form or another) that may contain some or all of the programs you are looking for. Also a great place to start is the Fish and AMICUS series of disks. These are also available at/through users groups, and if not look in the back of Amazing Computing - they sell them. Also Fred Fish (the one man show behing the Fish series) is on the net and his disks can be ordered from him direct. Option #3 is to join a database service like BIX (Official CATS hangout :-), People Link (Official hangout of Harv - Hi Harv!), GEnie and more. On this same line you might be able to find a BBS thats local to you and has these programs. Of course options #3 & #4 are only valid if you have a modem. Alais a final (on this list anyway) option is to find a person close to you who has had their AMIGA for a little (or long) while. Odds are they have what you want or know the easiest way to get what you want. FACC (and FACC][) are *NOT* public domain or shareware and can be gotten at your local AMIGA dealer or direct. Perry from ASDG (the maker of FACC) is on the net and can be contacted via E-Mail for ordering instructions. -- Dan Schein uucp: {ihnp4|rutgers}!cbmvax!schein Commodore Business Machines or: {allegra|burdvax}!cbmvax!schein 1200 Wilson Drive Bix: dschein Plink: cbmtelecom West Chester PA 19380 phone: (215) 431-9100 ext. 9542 +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ All spelling mistakes are a result of my efforts to avoid education :-) +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Those who worked the hardest are the last to surrender -- Gary Ward
