GOOD GRIEF! I'm sure I speak for the most of the rest of the net when I say WHO GIVES A DAMN that some people misuse grammar on USENET! Sure it's annoying to see errors. Lots of things are annoying. Next thing you know, somebody is going to start griping on net.general that the summer is too hot and humid. Fact: people make mistakes. Fact: no matter how much you bitch, people are going to continue to make mistakes. Fact: the quick nature of feedback people get from USENET far outweighs the cost of having to read typographical and grammar errors. Fact: most of us are sick and tired of reading about this in net.general, which WAS NOT PUT HERE FOR THIS KIND OF RANDOM FLAMING. Fact: in six months, some turkey who will be new to USENET will bring this up again. (Sigh.) Why don't you all just SHUT UP about this. You can't change it. Learn to live in an imperfect world.
