[comp.sys.amiga] 1.2 Manuals

schwager@uiucdcsm.cs.uiuc.edu (10/27/87)

I'm interested in getting the full manual set for the Amiga-
AmigaDos 1.2
Hardware Reference
Exec- Libs and Devices
Exec- (something else... graphics, perhaps)
Intuition

Anyhow, the 5 reference manuals everyone needs. I'm wondering tho- if I
order this from my dealer will I get the 1.1 manuals (except for
AmigaDos, which I know is 1.2)? Are the 1.2 reference manuals out yet?
Are they easy to recognize (like the AmigaDOS, which has big "1.2"'s on it)?
Or, if they're not out yet, will there be addendum sheets for the 1.1
manual sets? Don't be bashful, I know someone knows!
Thanks...

There is a 1.2 Bantam AmigaDOS manual (clearly marked as such), but the
A-W manuals are currently all v1.1. There may be 1.2 manuals is the future,
but right now, your best bet is 1.1 manuals + 1.2 Native Developer Update
(1.2 Includes, Autodocs, ReadMes, Amiga.lib, etc), a 4-disk set available
from:

   CATS - Orders
   Lauren Brown
   CBM
   1200 Wilson Drive
   West Chester, PA. 19380

("1.2 Native Developer Update", $20 US, +$2.50 Canada, +$5.00 Foreign,
check made out to Commodore Business Machines)
