[comp.sys.amiga] Manx SDB with Lattice Compiler???

bact@ssc-vax.UUCP (Archie A. Auxter) (11/06/87)

I have been waiting FOREVER for a source level debugger. Now, Manx
has finally came out with one. However, I have Lattice's 3.03 C
compiler. I doubt that code produced by my compiler will be
compatible with the Manx SDB. Is that right??? Anyway, now I
really don't know what to do. Do I upgrade to Lattice 4.0 for $75,
and have no SDB, or buy Manx 3.6 and SDB. Does anybody know if
Lattice is planning on a SDB of their own? Any way to convert
code produced by Lattice/Blink to whatever Manx's SDB understands.

Help - I want an SDB - life without one is miserable!!!!!

Be patient, my son. There is an SDB for Lattice in the works. It's
just not going to get here quite as fast as the Manx one. But it will
apparently cost less when it does.

Mabye someone who has better information than I do would care to
comment?
