I"m having a bit of trouble with runback. I have an A2000 with 3megs and my startup-sequence now takes around four (L O N G) minutes, so I thought I'd stick some of it off in a runback. Well, I've tried a bunch of things and everything I do runs into the guru. *Is* there a way to use "execute" with runback? If not, is there some other set of tricks that might do for "hiding" a chunk of cli-script inside a runback? Instead, why not just do a newcli in your script after cd and paths are set up, and let your script kill the initial cli when it's done. Some other possibilities for breaking off some of your global startup stuff are Newcli from scriptname, or run > nil: execute scriptname. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Carolyn Scheppner -- CATS >>Commodore Amiga Technical Support<< UUCP ...{allegra,ihnp4,rutgers}!cbmvax!carolyn PHONE 215-431-9180 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
