Bryce asked me a couple weeks ago why I haven't held a contest to see who can come up with the best DME macros. So here we are. Being a poor programmer (well, not that poor), there will be no prizes. For all of you who use my DME editor, post your best macros to the net or mail to me. I'll gather them up over about two weeks, post the results and the authors, and let the net vote on them (votes to be sent to my mailbox rather than posted on the net... but that's two weeks ahead). You do not have to be a user of DME or even to know what DME is to vote on the results. Voting will be in several categories yet to be decided, but I was thinking of 'most complex' 'most unreadable' 'most readable' 'most useful' 'least useful' 'most hilarious' 'most likely to crash.. oops, let's not get too carried away... I intend to release 1.28f to the net in a day or two, but this won't effect the macros. Macros can be made up of other macros (warning: 1.28e which I did not release to the net has a bug when referencing macros from macros.. use 1.27), and the only limitation to each macro's length is that which DME imposes (254 characters). Example: map casALR-mmove ``all of that for a silly message' first down' (control-alt-shift-Amiga-leftmousebutton-rightmousebutton+mouse_movement) -Matt
