Considering the number of requests we have gotten from our counterparts on BITNET concerning access to comp.sources/binaries.amiga and the archives, we have decided to post and see if there is some way they can be helped. To begin with, the archives are available only to those that can ftp from them (ARPA access). The comp.sources/binaries.amiga appear to be only available to usenet people while comp.sys.amiga is somehow forwarded to people on BITNET. Since none of us use the VM system here at Purdue much, and certainly not for newsgroup related stuff, we don't know how any of this works. If there is anyone who can tell us either how to get the comp.sources.amiga groups from BITNET, or if there is a BITNET-accessible archive somewhere and how to get to it, we would appreciate it.
