My local AMiga Dealer has about 8 back orders from people who are trying to take advantage of the 1000-2000 upgrade. He is concerned that despite a statement from Westchester his orders will not arrive until after the 30th. How should he deal with those people who decided to take advantage of the upgrade when it first was announced but may not get their machines until AFTER the upgrade offer has expired? Does he have to have the 1000s in hand on the 30th? (leaving the customers without a computer for a period of time unknown) or can he report the serial numbers and wait to confiscate the A1000s until he can replace them. Paul? What is Commodore Sales' official policy?? I realize that the deal has to end sometime... The question is, what happens to those orders send in time but due to the LARGE response, are not able to be filled before Nov. 30th.
