I have a question concerning the possibility of running UNIX on the
Amiga 2000 or even the 1000. I owuld like to get a low cost machine, and run
UNIX on it, prefereably using possible multi-ports. The reason is, there is a
software package called Pnet that I want to run as a local bbs. This package
should run under any UNIX shell, and allows unlimited port access, and a
number of other great feautures.
Now, I have asked a few people about this, and they could really give
me the names of any current or vaporware packages that consist of a UNIX shell
running on the Amiga. So, if anyone out there knows of anything that fits
this bill, or even has some information on vaporware doing this, please send
me any information you may have, preferably via private mail.
