Hi-- In about 8.5 months, I'm going to be leaving the easy life of the MIT student to go become a productive member of society. I'll be moving to Reading, England, since that is where my wife will be doing her teaching practicum for her Boston U. M.A. in Education (and I like to be where my wife is, you understand :-). Can somebody tell me if there is some way I can make temporary or permanent modifications to my Amiga 500 so that I can use it in a 50Hz, 220VAC environment (I'm perfectly happy to use my 1080 monitor, but I fear it won't be too happy at 50Hz, even with a 220V-120V transformer). I'll be there for at least a year, probably three or four based on my previous love affair with England, so I don't mind making major modifications as long as they can be reversed. As they say in the old country, thanks in advance. --Lang P.S. Since I'll be in Reading anyway, if anyone at DEC's new Thames Valley HQ has any tips on getting a software systems QA or technical or tutorial documentation position there, please mail me. I've already injected my resume via DEC chums here in the states, but the more the merrier as they say. Be seing you... --Lang Zerner langz@athena.mit.edu ...ihnp4!mit-eddie!mit-athena!langz "No one is exempt from talking nonsense; the only misfortune is to do it solemnly" --Michel de Montaigne
