I would like some information on the Micron 2M expansion. I already know that it is a board for the 2000 to which you can attach to the 1000. I own a 1000, and want more memory that I can transfer over to 2000 if I every upgrade. I'd like to hear: 1) from anyone who has the product, what their impressions are. 2) Prices you paid for it 3) Phone number to call to order it. Please e-mail me your response. If I get enough mail, I will post a summary of what you all say about the board. Thanks for the information... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~ "...And the waitress is practicing politics ~ ~ as the business men slowly get stoned..." ~ ~ ~ ~ The Piano Man, by Billy Joel ~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Isn't the Micron 2M expansion the same thing as the ASDG board? ..Bob -- Bob Page, U of Lowell CS Dept. page@ulowell.edu ulowell!page "I've never liked reality all that much, but I haven't found a better solution." --Dave Haynie, Commodore-Amiga

I concur with Marco's findings. I have a Micron 2Meg expansion board on my A1000 now and just looked through the devs/VDISK.DEVICE file. It says, "Copyrighted 1986 by ASDG Incorporated." I bought the card with the idea of some day upgrading to the A2000. I wonder if it will work in the A3000? =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+ Bill Daggett, a.k.a. *Bilbo Baggins* Recombinant Hobbit and Sysop of * Sometimes The Dragon Wins! * Bilbo's Hideaway = 213-640-6104 INTERNET: bilbo@pnet02.CTS.COM UUCP: {hplabs!hp-sdd!crash, ihnp4!scgvaxd }!gryphon!pnet02!bilbo
