I also saw the blurb about the A3000 on the Computer Chronicles show. The
interesting thing about this is that, not only is this show heavily PC and
Mac oriented, they very rarely mention rumors. Their computer news segment
deals almost solely with PC and Mac product announcements. What they called
an A3000 did sound a lot like an A2000 packed to rafters with boards. But,
they did already announce the A500 and A2000 a long time ago. You all realize
that this is the second week in a row that they've mentioned Amigas in the
news segment. I see a trend here. Also, they are using an A1000 in the
background of the software review segment (a screen that says 'Software
Review' and the name of the program), unfortunately they never review Amiga
software. Hey, C-A! It's time to get some C-A people on the show to show
off what an A2000 can really do, especially to those business types. Right
now they think that all you can make an Amiga do is run Boing! and Robocity
at the same time (as shown on the Amiga vs. Atari show they did in June '86).
Put a demo together that will make even Stuart Chefiet chuck his PC :-).
