[comp.sys.amiga] Where is Textcraft Plus

news@udenva.cair.du.edu (netnews) (12/21/87)

It has now been almost two months (I think) since Paul Higginbottom posted
his message about the Textcraft Plus Upgrade offer.

I sent in my money and disk the next day. I now have just one question
  for Commodore :

               WHERE IS TEXTCRAFT PLUS ?

I would dearly like to know!

For Pete's sake, why?? With all the other (superior) Amiga word
processors around? I used to own Textcraft, but with ProWrite,
Vizawrite, WordPerfect, etc., available, I didn't even bother to send
in for the Textcraft Plus upgrade. Any other word processor is likely
to beat Textcraft Plus by a mile.

My advice: cancel your check (or credit card order), and buy either
ProWrite or VizaWrite. Each is relatively inexpensive but nice.

I have spoken with the person handeling this upgrade offer and.....

"We are currently beginning to ship TextCraft Plus. Due to a special"
"offer which took longer than planned, the shipping on TextCraft was"
   "delayed."

   So now you know!

In regards to the Textcraft Plus Upgrade Promotion, it is unfortunately
necessary for you to allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. I expect actual
time to be much shorter, but the program was heavily backlogged at the
outset.

At this point the orders should be running more smoothly.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
