[comp.sys.amiga] mail box overload

grr@cbmvax.UUCP (George Robbins) (12/22/87)

Guilt feelings are striking, an anxiety attack is pending.

For those people who have sent questions by mail, I would like to offer a
little apology. I read all incoming mail, but am hopelessly backlogged
on replying to questions, with little hope of relief in sight.

Still, if you do want to send mail, please don't send massive lists of
questions, half of them questions about future issues that I can't
even answer directly. Keep each message to one or two questions and
please include either a uucp address relative to a well known site or
a arpanet domain type address.

Also, remember that many questions have already been asked/answered in
the news group. You may be able to do use normal unix tools to scan
the spooled articles on your system for information you need. See your
site administrator for details and ideas. One of these days I'd hope
somebody can put together a CD-ROM of all the articles ever posted to
this group (and room for a few others, perhaps...).

thanks....
