from someone at ASDG or someone else with technical knowledge of the 8MI

 What I need to know is whether the chips used by the 8MI are of type fast 
 page or of type nibble; both types are of format 1M x 1 bit.  The reason is 
 that this toshiba offer for chips direct is for fst page only and expires 
 on the 31st, so I'd sort of like to know.

Hope I'm not too late :-)

My understanding is that either type of chip will work fine in an 8MI.
If you want, some equivalent parts would be:

	Hitachi:	HM51000-12
	NEC:		D421000-C-12
