I noticed that the silk screening on the motherboard of my 2000 says rev 4.1; Is there any significant difference between rev 4.1 and rev 4.2 which (from net references) seems to be the most common revision? Nope, all the 4.x boards are basically the same PC artwork with minor production cleanups and jumper inclusions. Even the 3.x boards that were used in the dealer demo units are electrically the similar, although there are an unpleasant number of jumpers under the board. At this point, there's no real reason for anybody to get excited about upgrading motherboards. Hold onto your money, and if it isn't broke, don't try to fix it. -- George Robbins - now working for, uucp: {uunet|ihnp4|rutgers}!cbmvax!grr but no way officially representing arpa: cbmvax!grr@uunet.uu.net Commodore, Engineering Department fone: 215-431-9255 (only by moonlite)
