[comp.sys.amiga] Can the Amiga use a faster 68000 chip?

What needs to be done to get the Amiga to use a 16 Mhz 68000 (instead of
the usual 8 Mhz)? Is it any simpler or cheaper than using a 68020 board?

The problems of getting the Amiga to work with a faster 68000 are similar
to those of getting a 68020 to work. While you could do a 68000 device
more cheaply, an '020 product promise more marketing impact and higher
unit profit/margins so that's were most product development has led.
