[comp.sys.amiga] TeX for Amiga

willis@auvax.UUCP (Tony Willis) (10/05/87)

I understand that there is a version of TeX available for the Amiga.
Can somebody tell me where it can be obtained and how much it costs?

The author of Amiga TeX, Tom Rokicki, reads this group and will
probably reply to you. If not, after a week or two, lemme know and I
send you information.

PS Amiga TeX is a fine implementation, with a very good screen
previewer. Works well with two floppies and 512K, but works great with
more memory.

There is also a C language PD TeX available if you wanna compile your
own, supply your own fonts, etc. Lotsa work.

I am looking for a TeX implementation for the Amiga.
If you know of any, please send mail to me at sears@sun.com.
Thanks.

There is a demo version of TeX on fish disk #83. The disk also contains
information for ordering the commercial version.
