Hi! I'm been changing an AMIGA WORLD program to make it compatible with this system. I'm hoping to generate the data here and download it to my Amiga. Anyway, the program is in the May/June 1987 issue of the magazine, pages 18-24 (essentially) entitle GRAPHIC SCENE SIMULATIONS by Eric Graham. The questions I have regard the values that are used to initialize the observer's characteristics. Specifically, VIEWDIR, UHAT, VHAT, and FL. The author mentions that "two numbers, one for the number of degrees it is pointing away from north, and one for how many degrees it [the imaginary camera] is pointing above or below the horizon" are needed for VIEWDIR. Yet, VIEWDIR is an array of THREE numbers. How do the three numbers relate to the "cameras" direction? How do UHAT, VHAT and FL relate to the picture to be generated (in other words, what do they do??). Please help if you can. I don't get much of a chance to read this group, so please E-mail, if possible.
