[net.general] z8000 Unix vs. 68000 Unix

Hi,

	I would like to get in touch with people who have ported Unix
to either a z8000 or a 68000 microprocessor. I would like to find out
the problems that they found and whether or not they optimized the 
object code for the specific microprocessor, e.g., did they write a
compiler for the z8000 that uses the string manipulation facilities, etc. ?

	Is there any general feeling within the community which micro is
easier to port to, and which version of Unix runs better?
